When you share links through The Plug, you're likely to receive a number of clicks. Something we don't make too clear is that no two clicks are the same, and some we classify as bad traffic.
Bad traffic can come from a variety of sources including:
- Foreign countries: Several of our apps only serve English speaking countries therefore some traffic driven to foreign countries can be considered bad traffic.
- Affiliates: Working with affiliates is prohibited. This is because affiliates can promote with incentivized traffic or drive traffic to foreign countries.
- Incentivized Traffic: Not following guidelines can result in driving bad traffic. Please refer to our influencer guidelines for a list of examples.
