Sometimes, coming up with the right caption to go alongside your ad can be the toughest part. Check out some of our pro tips for writing your captions!
Include a call to action: To make sure you drive your audience to the right place, include a call to action! For example, include something like "Link in bio" or "Swipe up to download" in the caption.
Emojis work: Adding emojis to your captions can help draw attention and increase clicks.
Use Second-slide Posts: We've found that putting our ads as a second slide behind a piece of regular content can help boost engagement/views. For this, we usually add something like, Second slide 👉🏻 to our posts:
Second slide 👉🏻 click the link in my bio to download my favorite app to get a good night sleep 😴💤
Use your own language: If you have a writing style for your captions, stick to it. Posts that feel natural can help your ads perform best.
Avoid incent: All Plug campaigns do not allow incentivizing on posts. This means that you are not allowed to make a caption that might offer some sort of reward for downloading from your links. For example, saying "download this app for a follow-back" is strictly not allowed.
